Overdozz is a relatively new brand of shisha tobacco, but it has swiftly changed the landscape. There is a noticeable transformation in the paradigm of hookahs and shisha tobaccos or flavors. Overdozz is clearly amongst those at the forefront ushering in an array of new flavors. The company does not shy away from experimentations, and their adventures have already led to fascinating new shisha tobaccos in the market. One of these revelations is Overdozz 24 Karatine.
Introduction to Overdozz 24 Karatine
24 Karatine is one of the recent releases of Overdozz. Many hookah enthusiasts may not yet know about this flavor, which is partly why it is our featured flavor of the month. There is only one size of 24 Karatine available right now, that of 50 grams. Overdozz has maintained its standard pricing of hookah flavors for the 24 Karatine.
Primary Flavors of Overdozz 24 Karatine
There are two sets of distinct flavors in the 24 Karatine. The first set is what can be best described as primary flavors. It is a blend of cappuccino and cookies. This is not evident till you actually smoke the flavor. A first impression would be that the flavor is some kind of chocolate. The tobacco, fresh out of the can, has a sufficiently intense chocolaty fragrance. It is strong, but not harsh. The cappuccino and cookies become realizable flavors only after a few puffs.
Secondary Flavors of Overdozz 24 Karatine
The secondary flavors are banana and pineapple. These are not as pronounced as the cappuccino and cookies. However, those with a penchant for spotting subtle textures and tinges of additional flavoring will detect the sweetness of banana and pineapple. The secondary flavors are not sequential. The primary flavors of cappuccino and cookies prevail. They also linger in the palate as you continue a session.
User Experience of Overdozz 24 Karatine
There are quite a few experiential elements of Overdozz 24 Karatine. Almost all smokers will agree with these. One, the chocolaty smell is unmistakable. Two, the quality of tobacco is amazing. The leaves are finely cut. There is no unnecessary inclusion of parts of the tobacco leaves or stems that should not find their way into a shisha flavor post curing and processing. The texture of the tobacco seems just right. It is neither excessively moist nor too dry.
Three, the primary flavors are hard to be perplexed about after you draw a few puffs. It is natural to initially think that the taste is chocolate, probably dark or a mix of white with something creamy. The combination of cookies in the blend that is predominantly cappuccino organically makes this flavor chocolaty and creamy.
Four, the creamy texture is also enhanced due to the presence of tinges of banana and pineapple. The two fruits contribute to the sweetness as well. The result is a slightly sweet and awesomely smooth smoke that is rich in flavor and texture. The smoke is uniquely satiating. It will be so even for the most discerning smoker.
Five, the richness of the flavor extends the smoking session. Given the composition of Overdozz 24 Karatine, a well filled bowl should last over an hour. This is significantly in contrast to most flavors out there that tend to give away in forty minutes unless you are using a larger bowl.
The smoke is thick and dense. There is sufficient smoke in every puff. The flavor does not dry out or burn quickly. The flavors are consistent. There is a progressive buildup of flavors in the palate as you cross the first few minutes and hit the sweet zone. There is a subtle buzz, which is pleasant and quite interesting. The creaminess and sweetness do not become overbearing at any point in time. The flavors embedded in your taste buds may give you a high as if you have had a sundae.
Overdozz 24 Karatine is not harsh. It does not choke at all. You should use natural hookah charcoal with such a rich flavor. Using natural charcoal is anyway healthier and better for all hookah tobaccos. The Virginia tobacco used in the flavor is of premium quality. The smoke is truly exotic when you consider the abundance of mints, tropical fruits, and sweet variants out there.
It is hard to say if this flavor is a fitting base, filler, or add-on for other blends. Mixing Overdozz 24 Karatine with another flavor and, more importantly, what type has to be an entirely personal choice.
